Bright White paper gives artists a brighter foundation for their water-based masterpieces. These truly white watercolor sheets allow colors to appear true, vibrant and intense. Each imported sheet is mold-made without optical brighteners or bleaches and is acid-free for longevity.

These brushes are all made by the Jack Richeson Company. These are high quality synthetic brushes.

1 1/2 inch wash brush. My favorite brush, this synthetic brush holds lots of water and I use this brush to wet the paper and lay out colors.
1/2 inch flat brush. This synthetic brush is used for lifting color (thirsty brush technique) and painting straight edges, such as buildings.
#14, #12 and #10 round brush. This synthetic brush has a great point used to get into any tight places, like when painting flowers.
#8 and #6 round brush. Useful for detail.
Script/liner brush. I use this brush all the time, especially for final details.
Small rabbit hair brush. This natural haired brush holds a lot of paint and releases the paint to create foliage. Synthetic brushes do not release the paint.

Watercolor Paints - 5 ml - Daniel Smith
These extra-fine watercolors span the color spectrum from the historical to natural earth and quinacridones. Outstanding color strength, extremely vibrant colors and excellent brushing properties make these paints desirable for any watercolor artist. The pigments are procured from every continent except Antarctica, and the paints are manufactured in Seattle, Washington.

Karlyn’s recommended watercolor paints. These paints are either a Daniel Smith (DS) or a Winsor Newton (WN) brand depending on the color. The tubes of paint are 14-15ml (.5 US fl. oz.)

This tape-bound 9x12 watercolor pad contain 12 sheets of Arches watercolor paper. Made with natural gelatin sizing, each 100% cotton 140 lb. sheet is acid-free and has a natural white finish.

Karlyn Holman Recommended Brush Set ( 6 brushes)
1 1/2 inch wash brush, 1/2 inch flat brush, #2 Script/Liner brush, #14 Round brush, #08 Round Brush, and a small Chinese rabbit hair brush.

Please do not store your brushes in water or place on a damp surface; the paint will start to peel.

This is a FILLED palette.

The paint has been squeezed into the wells up to the brim as instructed by Karlyn. We also include a print out with the paint names and where they are to help you learn their placements. We use only Daniel Smith and Winsor Newton professional paint. Each well receives approximately 7.5 ml of paint or .25 fl. oz.

The placement of color was designed by Karlyn. We create these palettes when ordered, so there will be about a one week wait for them to be filled and fully dried before shipping. No special ordering, the palette comes as is. As is the nature of drying watercolor paints, shrinking and cracking of the paint in the wells does occur. Especially Raw Sienna. Please note that this is normal.

This palette is filled with Karlyn Holman's recommended colors. Consististing of 17 colors from either Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton, each well is labeled and filled with 7ml of paint. Comes with color wheel map showing placement of each color. Leaves 7 empty wells for additional colors.
